Woowookarung Regional Park Mine Discovery Walk


Access info

Woowookarung Regional Park water races, diggings and mine site pop up heritage walk. The walk is held as part of the 2024 Ballarat Heritage Festival.

The guided walk begins and finishes at the Wilson St Water Tanks, Wilson St, Canadian.

The walk is 8.8 km along gravel roads and undulating bush tracks. Walkers are urged to wear solid footwear, warm clothing and carry water and food if required. There are no facilities along the trail.

A walk booklet is available at the start. The booklet is a Friends of Canadian Corridor publication.
