The Grand Old Dames of Ballarat Exhibition by Charmaine Channells

Access info

A collection of portraits that pay homage to iconic Ballarat buildings and present realistic interpretations of imagined personas. Decorative architectural elements, derived from human vision and the mastery of human hands, have brought beauty to the built environment.

Each Dame embodies the essence of their formation: what they are and who they are. Part of the Ballarat Heritage Festival.

The Old Butchers Shop Gallery is a place to show the diversity and talent of Ballarat artists, with a different artist exhibiting each month.
