Sheltering from the Rain: Ballarat Heritage Festival play and gallery tour

Access info

An art gallery is so much more than a place to shelter from the rain. That’s what Veronica discovers in ‘Nude in decline’, a short play by local writer Ann Chadwick. Coming into the Gallery out of the rain, Veronica strikes up a casual conversation with fellow Gallery visitor Leo, which takes her to unexpected places.

For this three-part free event, experience this short play performed by local actors. After the play, enjoy a short tour with a Gallery Guide, visiting three works in the Gallery collection which might appeal to someone who has just come in out of the rain, and then finish with afternoon tea.

This event was a highlight of the Ballarat Seniors Festival 2021 and is back for the Ballarat Heritage festival following a successful tour to Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery.

Ages: All

Tickets: Donation for afternoon tea
