Learn the ancient art of weaving in one of its most primitive forms to create a small raw fleece rug to keep your toes cosy all winter long.
Artist and weaver Bianca Patetl-Flowers will guide you in this meditative process that requires no previous experience.
Using a stick loom, or peg loom as they are sometimes called, you will create a small rug from raw fleece, perfect to keep your toes cosy under your desk all winter.
The same principle can be applied to make sleeping mats, yoga mats, bags, rugs and more, so once you learn the basics there are endless ways to use this amazingly simple and satisfying skill. This workshop uses raw unprocessed sheep wool so if you are allergic to lanolin please let the team know in advance so they can bring some alternative materials for you.
