Beaufort Municipal Band

The Beaufort Municipal Band is the only Brass Band in the Pyrenees Shire with ‘volunteer’ players performing ‘for the benefit of others’ providing music as accompaniment and entertainment at local events and ceremonies throughout the shire and beyond.

Functions such as regular concerts in the Rotunda, Australia Day, ANZAC Day, and Carols, together with the numerous occasions of entertainment at events like the STEAM RALLY, AG. SHOW, and the many other fetes, markets and gatherings occurring from time to time, have been enriched and benefited enormously from the band’s input. 

Membership of the Band is open to all ages with instruments and uniforms provided. And if you don’t want to play you would be most appreciated if you offered to help the Band in any way, be it serving sausages, helping at engagements, of even financial assistance or sponsorship should you be in a position to make that possible.
