Ballarat Tweed Ride

Access info

Social cycling and timeless style.

A Tweed Ride is a bike ride where a group of cyclists dress up in historic and vintage attire. Tweed rides are held all over the world and the first Ballarat Tweed Ride was in 2012. It has since become a key iconic part of the annual Ballarat Heritage Festival.

It is an all-weather event that cycles through Ballarat’s historic streets during autumn. Spectators are able to join at the start and finish and dress up. See the website for a participation info pack.
