Come and visit the Old Ballarat Gaol site and join us on a guided tour of Ballarat’s criminal history. Explore the Gaol’s tunnels and turrets in virtual reality. Uncover the colourful history of the former Gaol and its inmates through artefacts, blueprints and images. This year’s tour features a history of flogging as a form of punishment and correction in Victoria and the history of the Gaol throughout the 19th and 20th centuries.
