Share Your Story – Privacy and Consent Statement

The City of Ballarat is collecting stories, photographs and related information as part of the Ballarat Heritage Festival's Hidden Histories project.  

Stories shared in person are collected by Way Back When on behalf of the City of Ballarat.  

Way Back When does not acquire any ownership or usage rights to the stories or materials submitted.  

Stories submitted online are provided directly to the City of Ballarat. By submitting your story, you confirm that:  

* The information you have provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge.  

* You are the owner of the material submitted or have permission to share it.  

* You consent to the City of Ballarat contacting you regarding your story.  

* You understand that submission does not guarantee your story will be published, displayed or included in future projects.  

Copyright and ownership of your story and any supporting materials remain with you unless a separate written agreement is entered into with the City of Ballarat for future use. 

The information collected is stored in line with City of Ballarat’s Privacy Policy.
