The Real Builders of Ballarat: A Masonic Tour of the Ballarat CBD

Access info

Freemasons were on the Goldfields from the very beginning and quickly became a contributing force in the fledging city of Ballarat by establishing many public works such as hospitals, libraries, schools and churches. Shrouded in secrecy, these builders have left many clues and symbols throughout the historic quarter of Ballarat.

For the first time, join one of Ballarat’s active Worshipful Masters on an enlightening walking tour as you learn about some of the achievements this mysterious fraternity has contributed to the City of Gold.

Location is Ballarat Train Station outside at the Front entrance.
