This May, the Rare Trades Centre, CRAFT and the City of Ballarat present Craft Lab 24 celebrating their shared commitment to fostering and sustaining the exemplary craft practices of local and regional artisans.

Throughout Craft Lab 24 the Rare Trades Centre is offering a series of curated experiences featuring Craft Lab alumni.

In this Artisan Insights, woodworker Robert Geddes will talk about Australia’s foremost vernacular furniture making tradition – the Jimmy Possum chair and provide an exclusive specialist deep-dive into related objects from the Australian Centre for Gold Rush Collections.
